A GEM IN THE COTSWOLDS!

We stayed for 3 nights in a lovely room on the first floor. Tea/coffee was supplied and replenished daily as was the milk, fresh in cute little milk bottles and placed in the handy fridge that we were not expecting! Bottled water was also supplied, a nice touch we thought! Corrine and her staff were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and a great start to the day!

The Lansdowne is a great base to explore The Cotswolds. We had a great time and will be back again soon. Would definitely recommend 😊

A Beautiful little garden apartment

We had a wonderful few days in the garden apartment at the Lansdowne. It was a real home from home. We were made very welcome by the hosts Corinne and Gemma. The apartment had a lovely little garden and it own parking area. Full breakfast was included.

Highly recommended guest house, as there is nothing to dislike!

This is my second visit and is the only guest house or hotel I would book in the area. The location is amazing as is the excellent warm, professional and friendly staff that greet you. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We stayed in the garden suite ‘Snowshill’ this time which was fantastic with excellent amenities for us, especially as my mum has mobility issues. I highly recommend this guest house as the rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable and the food is of a high standard.
Thank you again Corinne and Gemma, and the rest of the staff, - we will be back again!

Amazing B&B

The Lansdowne is an exceptional bed and breakfast in Burton on the water. We loved our 3 night stay. Rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast is amazing. Corrinne is an excellent manager and hostess. She is so welcoming and kind and caring. She has wonderful recommendations for day trips. Nothing is too much trouble for her and caters for all dietary requirements. Thank you again, lovely Corrine. We will highly recommend your b&b to all our Aussie friends.

Great location & hosts.

Stayed for a 1 night break and could definitely have stayed longer. Lovely property & welcome from the host. Our room was bright & clean, perfect for a nights getaway. We were slightly concerned as it was on the ground floor right next to the front door, we thought it might be noisy, but we were never disturbed by other guests.
A short stroll took us into the lovely village and some friendly advice from the host got us further afield to Hawkstone Brewey (a short walk for a refreshing pint!) & and a long countryside walk the next day, helping us to work off our delicious breakfast! Thank you!

Lovely Guest House in a fantastic location

I've stayed here a couple of times most recently with my friend Karen.

The staff are just lovely & welcoming & are very 'on the ball' with any requests that you may have. Everywhere is very clean & everything is available that you may need in the guest rooms.

The food is scrummy & there is an extensive breakfast menu.

In a place as busy as Bourton it's nice to be in a location with great parking which is very close & not far to walk into the village. Perfect.
